Inspired primarily by nature-especially the ocean-my abstract work reflects the unpredictable movement of water as a metaphor for life’s journey. My photography is focused primarily on coastal destinations. In addition to my fine art practice, I enjoy travel, yoga, and exploring local food and art scenes.
My Approach
Painting Approach
My approach contains an iterative process where I start with an under painting and add many layers, using a variety of tools, including everything from a paintbrush to a spatula and a sponge.
Photography Approach
My approach revolves around the subject matter at hand. I shoot primarily nature and architecture shots. I will wait for the correct lighting and timing and approach Subjects with natural timing and elements.
